Join the OPAS Conservation Committee

Do you wonder what the Conservation Committee does?  Read this (paraphrased from OPAS By-Laws):  … keep informed on local, state, and national governmental policies and action affecting the natural environment and the conservation of natural resources … endeavor to coordinate (the committee’s) actions with the policies and activities of the National Audubon Society; and work on at least one major conservation or environmental project.

The Conservation Committee currently has eight members. Please join us … your efforts would be a welcome addition. You’d be helping to monitor and protect our natural environment. To join, contact committee chair Jim Gift by email (jgift42@msn.com) or phone (360-681-2989).
