Welcome to the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society (OPAS)
OPAS engages this environment with birder activities, classes, and public celebrations, such as our April Birding Festival. Many members are involved with conservation issues. We live in a unique area. Bounded by the Olympic Mountains and Pacific
Ocean/Strait of Juan de Fuca, we are blessed with a rich birding
environment. The climate ranges from rain forest to semiarid. Plus, the
peninsula is on the path for many migratory birds.
